Brush 44

B44 is a wildland type 6 fire engine. Thanks to a very generous grant from the Oregon Office of State Fire Marshal, The Ford Family Foundation, and our own Firefighters Association (think O'Fest!), we were able to purchase this engine brand new in January! Two of our officers flew to Salt Lake and drove it home, and our volunteers have been working to outfit it and get it ready for service. This unit replaces a 1992 type 6 that had numerous mechanical problems.
